It’s a pleasant walk from Central to the Peak Tram Lower Terminus. Along the route, there are a few famous Hong Kong landmarks. From MTR Central station, make your way to the J2 exit and walk up to the ground level. Turn right, through Chater Garden, cross Queen's Road Central, and make your way up Garden Road. You will pass the Bank of China Tower and Citibank Plaza on your left and St John's Cathedral on your right.

Today let the Expendables introduce a new place in Central and Western Distrist, King George V Memorial Park. This Park is built from 1936, and at the same year King George V died. Therefore, the HK government named this park as George V Memorial Park.

The wall built by Grantie and there are lots of old Ficus microcarpas. Furthermore, there is also a football court, public toilet and a children playground.

今日同大家介紹一個有番咁上下歷史嘅公園–香港佐治五世紀念公園。公園在1936年建立，但同年1月英皇佐治五世駕崩，當時的香港殖民地時期的香港政府便以其名命名這個公園。公園外牆由古老大麻石建成，園內有無數歷史久遠的細葉榕樹，其他設施還包括一個標準足球場，公共廁所以及兒童遊樂場等。

香港動植物公園佔地五.六公頃於1871年建成，當時名為植物公園，直至1975年正式易名為「香港動植物公園」，以反映對野生動物所作努力。

The Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens (HKZBG) occupies an area of 5.6 hectares was founded in 1871 as a Botanic Garden and renamed in 1975 as Botanical and Zoological Gardens to reflect the increased commitments to zoological exhibits.

公園入面有三種動物,哺乳類,鳥類同爬行類。哺乳類右例如:婆羅洲猩猩，紅頰黑猿，皇狨猴，金頭獅，狨猴，獅尾猴，環尾狐猴等。鳥類例如美洲紅鸛，長冠八哥，黃頸黑雁，丹頂鶴等。爬行類例如有緬甸陸龜，希臘陸龜，馬來閉殼龜等。

There are 3 types of Animals, Mammals,Birds and Reptiles. Mammals such as Bornean Orang-utan, Buff-cheeked Gibbon, Emperor Tamarin, Golden-headed Lion Tamarin, etc. Birds such as American Flamingo, Bali Mynah, Hawaiian Goose and Red-crowned Crane. Reptiles such as Elongated Tortoise, Greek Tortoise, Malayan Box Turtle, etc.

我地SPD4459 The Expendables介紹左好多地方，今次我地要介紹一個皇后像廣場附近地方，就係和平紀念碑。相信大家如果搭車或者行路經過干諾道中，都會發現一個好大的草地，草地中有一個碑。個碑就係充滿歷史價值的和平紀念碑!

和平紀念碑於一九二三年五月二十四日由當時的香港總督司徒拔爵士揭幕，是香港首座為紀念第一次世界大戰的死難者而正式建造的紀念碑。SPD4459 The Expendables

The Cenotaph was unveiled on 24 May 1923 by the then Governor Sir Edward Stubbs. It is the earliest memorial formally constructed to commemorate the dead of the First World War in Hong Kong.SPD4459 The Expendables

The Cenotaph was initially inscribed with the words “The Glorious Dead” and the years of the First World War, i.e. “1914-1918”. The years “1939-1945” were subsequently added to honour victims of the Second World War. In the 1980s, eight Chinese characters “英魂不朽浩氣長存” ( meaning “May their martyred souls be immortal, and their noble spirits endure”) were carved on one side of the Cenotaph corresponding to the inscription “The Glorious Dead” to make it clear that the Cenotaph commemorates all who fell, especially those who fell in the defence of Hong Kong. Commemorative activities are still held by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and other relevant associations at the Cenotaph every year.In addition, The Cenotaph is one of the Declared Monuments in Hong Kong.
